 There are many advertisements directed at children, such as snacks, toys and other goods. Parents argue that children are under pressure. Advertisers claim that the advertisements provide useful information.   Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

 There is a heated discuss about whether the advertisements useful for children.

 Some people hold the idea that plenty of advertisements are the source of children pressure. This point of view seems reasonable to me. Firstly, plenty of ads such as toys and foods are easy to appeal children to persuade their parents to buy them as the great curiosity. For youngsters, they want to attempt almost things when they see that as well as we know that the ads also are beautifully decorated. Thus for this reason, a sense of comparison will emerge. Furthermore, it will lead to parents are more stressful. Because they have to donate spend more money on that items to fulfill their children’s dream. And parents also have a mentality is that their sons or daughters cannot lose to other kids.

 However, another view on this issue is that ad companies consider that some advertisements can provide useful information for children, which also seems plausible. First and foremost, there are variety of ads directed for one thing. Children can through comparison among those ads to find what item has genuinely greater and cheaper. In addition, real ads indeed provide some useful information. For instance, some ads unreserved reveal all the functions of the goods that can make consumers better to know it. Since television ads can present goods in a visual and audio way, they can definitely enhance consumers’ knowledge of the advertised goods, especially electronic toys and newly-introduced food.

 Looking at two sides one can hardly decide whether this phenomenon is advantageous or the opposite, as both seem to be convincing. Yet, it’s my firm belief that parents should teach children how to select helpful ads as well as when ad companies design the ad, they should consider the mentality of children.
