In some countries, people waste a lot of food which is bought in shops and restaurants. What do you think are the reasons? What can be done to solve this problem?

It is undoubtedly the case that people waste food in shops and restaurants is becoming increasingly common. In the essay I examine the reasons for this trend and offer some practical suggest to reduce the level of waste in our life.

The first step is to understanding why some food will be wasted. Broadly speaking, there are three reasons for this. One is that, we can gain food more easily. There are more and more convenient stores in many cities and a part of them are open 24 houses a day. A second reason is that restaurant industry have keen competition. So they maybe increase the meal volume due to attract more costumers whatever people can finish eating. The third reason is that many employees have heavy stress from work, so they always choice eat or buy variety food to reduce their pressure. But they often buy too more to finish it.

I have several advices to solve this situation. Firstly, people should study to share their food to others. It is not only reduce waste food but reinforce relationship with each other.  Also restaurants maybe decrease the volume of meals and give some suggest with customers when they order. Secondly, governments can give publicity to public service advertisement for increase the awareness of saving food. Finally, people can change the way to reduce their pressure such as sport.

In conclusion, there are many reasons contribute to food wasting. When we face this situation we have three parts of ways to solve it like individual, company and society.
