Some people say that the main environmental problem

Some people say that the main environmental problem of our time is the loss of a particular species of plants and animals. Other say that there are more important environmental problems.

Discuss both their views and give your own opinion.

With the rapid development of modern society, this twenty years witnessed the severe environmental changes in our planet. Some insisted that the extinct of some rare plants and animals was the most significant.  Other believed that should have some effects overweigh that one.  In my opinion, the latter view is more acceptable, pollution would be big one of them.

 On the one hand, humans were responsible for a variety of environmental problems. As the most smartest life on earth, human being was putting pressure on natural resources because of the increasing world population. We were destroying wildlife habitats ,we have cut down enormous areas of rainforest, which resulted to the vanish of some categories plants and animals. As a result , the balance of primitive ecology has been broken, which definitely caused an army of environmental issues . Therefore, endlessing reduce of types biologies was one outcome instead of the reason.

On the other hand. There are more serious questions that human should to face. Firstly ,two of the biggest threats to the environment are air pollution and waste. Gas emissions from the factories and exhaust fumes from vehicles lead to global warming, which may have a devastating effect on the planet in the future. What’s more ,we are also producing ever greater quantities of waste ,which contaminates the earth and pollutes rivers and oceans. Secondly , with the lack of environmental awareness or have done something harmful to the environment in the face of higer interests, many people became the the culprit of environmental problems.

In conclusion, government could certainly make some effort to reduce air pollution. They could introduce strick law to limit emission and  classificate and recycle garbage. Individuals should also choice environmently friendly life style. Human beings should make contributions to environmental protection.
