Today, Regard of some animals raised in zoos, opponent of zoos deem it is unfair or unnecessary for animals to leave their natural home or be in charge of zoo’s stuff.However, I stand for another group who think it is practical to take care of some animals in the zoos, especially endangered animals.

Some people who oppose zoos may concern that it brings lots of damages not only for ecological balance, but also for animals themselves. For example, refereed to animals, they can feel sick or uncomfortable if they move from their natural habit to zoos. And they are raised in captivity and are not able to walk freely which significantly weaken their viability.

Moreover, others think that zoos can provide better living standards and good health care, particularly for some wild animals or rare species. Due to some human activities, including poaching natural habitat for some commercial projects, a large number of endangered animals become extinguished and therefore zoos are a good place for them to live in .Then they have access to regular physical checkup, specialcare and enough food .

In my opinion, zoos are also a venue which is helpful to conduct some scientific research and breeding. Scientists work on biodiversity and some technologies aboutartificial breeding to protect these animals. In addition, people, especially students can be educated after visiting zoos and they’re inspired to preserve animals in their lives.
