There is an assertion

There is an assertion that human being should not curb specious extinction since it is a natural process. Though the view has justification in it, I firmly disagree with that.

We have to admit that people can’t reserve some species’ extinction, whether these animals going to extinction because of natural calamities, like dinosaurs, or the inability to adapt the natural environment, like those dying out because of the sudden climatic change during the ice age.

However, human have the responsibility to halt the extinction of certain animals since with the progress of civilization and industrialization, most rare animals are at the edge of extinction due to human activities. For instance, panda, the treasure of China, is dying out as a result of the habitat loss and the weakened food chan triggered by urbanization. Without the interfere of human, those struggling species are supposed to live freely in their habitats. Hence, people are culpable for the pernicious ramifications.

On the other hand, stemming the extinction of certain fauna eliminates potential delights to human. With all creatures coexisting in the same ecosystem, the disappearance of specific species may exhausts other species. For example, recent researches have revealed that the extinction of honeybees leads to the depopulation of humankind for the reason that without honeybees which incorporates the role of pollination, the stagnancy or even the plummet of crops production would be a deterrent for the existence of mankind.

To conclusion, I reckon that we can’t interrupt the extinction process of some species, but it is blatantly implausible to silence all species extinction because the development of human should not be at the price of the deterioration of other species and protecting other species might prevent human themselves from suffering possible hazardous disasters.
