       Some people think that cultural traditions will be destroyed when they are used as money-making machines aims at tourists, other people believe that it is the only way to save such conditions in the world today. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

 Text:

Culture protection issues are always hotly-debated worldwide, one of which is whether using tradition as a tool to make money damages it or not. Views regarding this vary greatly from person to person.

Some people reckon that cultural traditions will make a substantial fortune if people make good use of them, such as selling tradition-based goods to tourists who will probably interest in and holding activations relate to local cultural traditions which charge tourists some money to attend. They made a point that it either raise people’s attention to cultural traditions when there are less and less people aware of cultural traditions nowadays.

On the other hand, other people regard this phenomenon as a disaster for cultural traditions. They believe it will destroyed them when some people only treat the traditions as a way to earn money, for they might be twisted and overturned, end up losing the conventional meaning in them when people desperately earn money from tourists. Take the spring festival as an example, many popular activations had been converted by merchants to become more profitable while many other traditions has already been forgotten by people in recent years.

In my opinion, although it is a good way to make people aware of cultural traditions when more and more businessman hold tradition-related events to make money, it will probably lost the original taste when increasingly number of people see the benefit in it eventually. People should focus on how to inherit and carry forward them instead of concern about how to use traditions as a money-making machines.
