   It is not necessary to travel to other places to learn about the other culture. We can learn as much as from books, films and internet. To what extent do you agree or disagree? （旅游）

 Travel has imposed tremendous influence on learning about other countries cultures even though people can learn from it other ways such as medium and textbooks. So personally I disagree with this statement.

 Admittedly, we can know about the whole world culture in the internet such as watching the international news, the films and Wikipedia and so on. This method doesn’t need you spending lots of money and the requirement of it just need the a phone or computer with WIFI, as well as you can sit in the library watching the National Geographic which seems advisable. Unfortunately, to learn in this way, these devices don’t make you feel the essence. You can not participate in the genuine activities whereas you just concentrate on the screen and listen the voice via the earphone.

 Being an indispensable component in our daily life, travel is a great value for us. As traveling, we can experience the local campaigns and talk with the indigenous citizens about their living habit and life style. That is truly real for learning other culture. For instance, Chinese people travel to the USA to try local western foods, genuinely taste the flavor and stimulate the buds simultaneously rather than reading the photographs which use the brain to imagine the inveracious taste. In addition, there is another impact of travel, people not only can learn about the local culture, but also can spread the own culture to there. Due to the two-way communication of culture, tourists can also bring some advanced culture to the local area, which is helpful for the local people to learn excellent culture, help them get rid of the shortcomings in the local culture, also it can promote the progress of culture and improve the cultural living standard of the backward areas.

  In conclusion, despite the advantages of modern media means, I’m firmly convinced that tourism is the most direct and authentic way to learn about local culture.
