Given tables illustrate the the number of international students studied in Canada and USA in 2002 and 2003 and the percentage change in the student population over this period.

 As is shown, it was an great significant number of international students in USA as well as the total of that in USA (23525 to 26989 )was about three times as high as that of in Canada(6978 to 8517) over two years.

 Furthermore, Chinese students were the majority of international students in Canada, which the percentage of it increased by 27%. On the contrary, Indian students preferred to learn abroad in USA especially the number of Indian pupils accounted for a half of the total in USA.

 In the first table, it is noticeable that the number of students who from USA dropped from 2243 to 2101,although the percentage of that population decreased 6% from 2002 to 2003.Meanwhile, Indian students accounted for most substantial percentage increase with 50%.

 In American, most of the students who from Canada didn’t choose to study in USA, which the percentage of population increased -23% whereas a great growth rate of 33% that China had a larger student population of 7534 compared to Canada’s 5214 which became the second ranking in the total of international students in USA.
