world, many universities are granting degree by online courses instead of
studying at school. In my opinion, I do not think that the benefits of this
trend are more than the nagative consequences.
There are two main
good aspects of obtaining qualifications through online studying. Firstly, some
people have to work to support their family so that they are unable to attend
classes at school. For example, many women have a baby at a very young age.
Most of them need to work to makes ends meet and also take care of their
children. If they want to achieve a higher education level, they just have no
choice but to learn by internet. At the second point, acquiring knowledge from
online courses is far more convenient. A case in this point is that people can
attain a qualification from foreign schools just at their own country.
On the opposite, I
would argue that it’s absurd to say there are less disadvantages. Study-online
still follows with many questions. Most courses are videos. This means people
have no chance to communicate with teachers or students so that it may limit
their understanding by study alone. In addition, many subjects do need to
practice. For instance, if someone is likely to get chimestry qualification, he
wouldn’t learn to perform experiments just by watching or listening. Above all,
there are not any strict tests. Those who have the qualification may be not
professional enough.
In conclusion,
while it is more convenient and flexible to be offered qualifications online, I
believe that there may be more disadvantages, such as a lack of communication,
