如下为同学雅思原文： Nowdays,with the development of ecology,the
number of people who have their own cars is increasingly booming.However, the
following the problems are there, traffic jams, more car emissions and the lack
of parking spaces. As a result, some people take the view that public transport
should be funded by the government so that it can be free for the people who
use it ,with which I totally agree.
On one hand,people wil change their
preferance towards transport if the public one is free.Then the pressure on private
transport will be relieved, and the problems mentioned above will be partly
solved,which is also good for protecting our environment.What’s more,buses and
subways are available everywhere and much more comfortable than they were
before.It is conceivable that more people’s first choice of going out will be
public transport if it is free.
On the other hand,public transport itself
is a certain kind of social welfare,it should not be charged at the very
beginning.Although,it is now mabey a combination of plenty of transport
companies,governments will take charge of it soon or later.And
eventually,public transport will become a non-profit service for it is one of
the most fundamental sustain for a ciziten’s daily life.
However,the people who have strong adversion
towards this hold the view that goverment do not have enough fund to support
it.I partly agree with this opinion.It can be a very large input,but there will
be a larger output hiding behind it.Goverment will save more money in dealing
with pollution and more human resources in many other issues,which can be used
to keep public transport free.Finally,it will turn out to be a virtuous cycle.
All in all,goverment should fund public
transport to make it free,because it wil not only solve quantities of problems
