There exists an argument whether children should be taught by family or school

There exists an argument whether children should be taught by family or school. Some people consider that educating children is the responsibility of parents, while other people think school should do this. From my perspective, both of the views are biased, since school and family have the same important roles for children.

On the one hand, with learning knowledge in school, children can get more professional and communicative skills. According to recently report, a teacher who has good methods about learning will take children to further field. In other words, if teacher have the good ways in their profession and teach these to kids, they would get more practical skills for their future study instead of rarely professional skills. In addition, by studying with other students, it is easy for peers to have some communications which can get more interpersonal skills, since they have no generation gap.  

On the other hand, there is a proverb that the parent is your first teacher. The behaviors which parents do have more influence on children, because they believe their parents do everything is right when children were born, so they have the first way to look at world is from parents. If we compare child development to the construction of building, the effect of parents can be compared to the foundation: without a solid foundation, the building will inevitably collapse.

In a word, parents teach the fundamental perception to children which can make children have an ability to distinguish the right thing from wrong, while children can learn more practical skills form school which are very useful for kids, so those are equally important for children.
