Living in a country where you have to speak a foreign language can cause serious social problems,as well as practical problems,To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In current society, there is a common view point that some people believe the persons who have to speak a foreign language in another country can face numerous both serious social and practical problems.I tend to agree this point of view.

There is no doubt that speaking foreign language in other country have lots of benefits.The first recognition is that this could lead to more communication with other foreign people.It is a really beneficial way to promote the communication between business and academic fields.Speaking with a foreign language is also another favorable way to express their feelings.They could learn more foreign thoughts through speaking local language,and have capability of resolving the diverse types of problems in daily life.

However, there are also some dissenting voices about this debate.Opponents believe that this brings numerous negative impacts to society and individual.At first,Some people who living in another country may not mature enough to cope by themselves.They are not able to adapt to new living environment quickly, if they cannot master a foreign language well.For example, a student may not have a more deep understanding with the teacher’s lessons,which may decreases their study efficiency and academic results. Besides,some people may have some misunderstanding with serious foreign words and cannot use these words in a correct way.If they do not have enough ability to use these words when they talk with other local residents,this may contribute to lots of conflict.

In conclusion,my view is that speaking a foreign language in a foreign country really could bring particularly problematic to society and individual,so I think the disadvantages of it more than the benefit of it.
